*Discussion*
The upcoming Fall Internet2 Member Meeting over December 4-7 in Chicago will include a combined NetAuth and FWNA BoF on Monday. {Chris} also updated the Group on an additional TNC session that has recently been added to the program. It has been decided that there will not be a DNSSEC session. Regarding the 802.1x session, {Chris} is still looking for another presenter to join {Rich} in discussing their campus’ use of 802.1x. More information can be found at <http://events.internet2.edu/2006/fall-mm/index.html>.

The Group briefly discussed integration aspects of two-factor authentication with SSO. There is sufficient interest, amid the administrative, technical, and financial issues. {Rich} mentioned that Penn State U. is currently using two-factor for only their networking and administrative computing department. {Chris} again stated the value of creating a document to outline current thoughts in the 802.1x area for sharing with others.
{Chris} reported that there is still interest in pursuing a relationship with the Trusted Network Connection (TNC), though there is no progress to report at the moment.

The next SALSA-NetAuth call will be on Thursday, October 12 at 12pm EDT.
