*Discussion*
{John} received word regarding the next IETF meeting, which will be internally focused on its charter. The Group should still consider presenting the work of FWNA, though perhaps at a later meeting. [AI] Group will readdress a potential proposal to IETF and who will propel that effort forward on the 7-Sep WG call.

{Mike} reported that the University of Michigan has been configured and is ready to participate in the experiment.

{Mark} discussed his addition to the FWNA wiki, regarding a problem statement and how to move forward with FWNA: <https://wiki.internet2.edu/confluence/display/FWNAWG/Problem+statement+to+address+moving+forward+with+FWNA>. It is still undecided whether the visited or home institution should bear responsibility for maintaining accounting records – who joined and when. There are policy issues in terms of collection and delivery of that information, which are associated with keeping accurate records. Privacy must be maintained, such that anonymity could be maintained. {Kevin} suggested that each institution has their own record retention, which could be queried if within a reasonable amount of time.

The call for Session Proposals is out for the Fall Internet2 Member Meeting, December 4-7 in Chicago: <http://events.internet2.edu/2006/fall-mm/index.html>. For more information on the presenting a specific topic, visit: <http://events.internet2.edu/2006/fall-mm/calls.cfm>.

[AI] {Mark} will email the list with a link to the wiki for a proposal that further addresses how to move forward with FWNA.

The next SALSA-NetAuth - FWNA WG call will be held on Thursday, 10-August at 11am EDT.
